1. Service Description

Sunn provides AI-powered nutrition coaching delivered via WhatsApp and through our web application at sunn.app. Our service includes:

• AI-powered food photo analysis and calorie/macro estimation.
• Personalized nutrition coaching and dietary guidance via WhatsApp chat.
• Daily progress summaries, weekly reports, and visual progress charts.
• Goal tracking based on your onboarding quiz responses.

Sunn uses artificial intelligence to provide coaching. While our AI is designed to be helpful and accurate, it is not a licensed dietitian, nutritionist, or medical professional.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, completing a quiz, subscribing to a plan, or using Sunn in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Sunn. By using the service, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age.

3. Subscription and Billing

3.1 Plans and Pricing

Sunn offers the following subscription plans:

Prices are in USD. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

3.2 Free Trial

Monthly and annual plans include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and your payment method will be charged.

3.3 Auto-Renewal

Monthly and annual subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@sunn.app.

3.4 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card details on our servers. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

4. Refund Policy

• During the 7-day free trial: cancel at any time and you will not be charged.
• Within 30 days of first payment: full refund available upon request.
• After 30 days: pro-rata refund for the unused portion of your current billing period for monthly and annual plans.
• Lifetime plan: full refund within 30 days of purchase. No refund after 30 days.

To request a refund, contact support@sunn.app. Refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days.

5. User Responsibilities

By using Sunn, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information during the quiz and throughout your use of the service.
• Not use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms.
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of our AI models or software.
• Not share your account credentials with others or allow others to use your account.
• Not send abusive, harmful, or inappropriate content to the AI coach.
• Not rely on Sunn as a substitute for professional medical advice, particularly if you have medical conditions, eating disorders, or specific dietary requirements.

6. AI Limitations

Sunn uses artificial intelligence to analyze food photos, estimate nutritional content, and provide coaching. While we strive for accuracy, you acknowledge that:

• Calorie and macro estimates from food photos are approximations and may not be exact.
• AI-generated dietary advice is general in nature and may not account for all individual health factors.
• The AI may occasionally provide incorrect or incomplete information.
• Nutrition estimates should be treated as helpful guidance, not precise measurements.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Sunn — including but not limited to the website, AI models, coaching methodology, text, graphics, logos, and software — are the exclusive property of Sunn and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of the content you submit (messages, photos). By using the service, you grant Sunn a limited license to process your content for the purpose of providing the coaching service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sunn and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
• Health outcomes resulting from following AI-generated nutrition advice.
• Service interruptions or data loss.
• Inaccuracies in food analysis or nutritional estimates.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Sunn in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may cancel your subscription and stop using Sunn at any time.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service.
• Engage in abusive or harmful behavior toward the service or its users.
• Use the service for illegal purposes.
• Fail to pay applicable fees.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We may retain your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure, or that any defects will be corrected.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Norway.

If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area, you may also be entitled to refer disputes to your local consumer dispute resolution body.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
